Mobile broadband for remote locations
4G & 5G broadband is a great value broadband option when a fibre connection is not available.
It is perfect for remote, rural locations that suffer from slow broadband. 4G offers speeds of up-to 100mbps download. Some of our customers have told us it has changed their lives, making it possible to work from home, stream HD TV and browse the internet in locations with a poor landline connection.
South West WiFi are able to install a 4G broadband system anywhere in Westcountry including, Cornwall, Somerset, Devon, Bristol, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
5G is being rolled out across the South West and offers even faster speeds than 4G. We can install 5G antennas and 5G routers, giving speeds of up to 500Mbps download in some locations.
Mobile Boost Scheme
In association with Devon Comms and Somerset Comms, South West WiFi have worked on installations partly funded by the Connecting Devon & Somerset Mobile Boost scheme. This is a scheme which was originally set-up to fund the installation of mobile phone signal boosters, but was then expanded to cover the installation of a 4G/5G router to help improve users connectivity.
The Mobile Boost scheme has just secured another round of funding and will be open to new grant applicants in the New Year. Keep an eye on out for further updates about the scheme on our website.
