Starlink Residential Lite
Starlink Lite is no more, but Starlink has launched new affordable packages across the UK. Whether you live in Cornwall, Somerset, or Dorset, there are now three clear residential plans to suit every household. With options ranging from 100 Mbps up to 400 Mbps, all with unlimited data, Starlink makes it easier than ever to get reliable high-speed broadband in rural and hard-to-reach areas.

New Starlink Offers
Starlink Lite is no longer available in the UK, including the South West. It has been replaced by Starlink’s new speed-based residential plans, making it easier to choose the right service for your home.
For households in Bournemouth, Devon, Wiltshire, and other South West areas, Starlink now offers three options:
Residential 100 Mbps plan (£35 per month) – ideal for smaller households, everyday browsing, HD streaming, and video calls, with unlimited data and installation for £75.
Residential 200 Mbps plan (£55 per month) – the closest replacement for the former Starlink Lite, perfect for busier homes, 4K streaming, and light gaming, with unlimited data and free installation.
Residential Max (£75 per month) – Starlink’s top-tier plan for large households or heavy internet users, offering speeds up to 400 Mbps, the latest Gen 3 router, free mesh coverage, and a Starlink Mini for travel, with free installation.
All plans provide unlimited data and flexible options, making Starlink a strong choice for South West communities seeking reliable high-speed broadband in rural and hard-to-reach locations.

FAQs
Yes, you can upgrade from the Starlink Lite plan to the standard residential service at any time. This flexibility allows users to switch plans based on their changing internet needs
Starlink Lite is considerably cheaper than the standard residential service, making it a more accessible option for those looking to minimise internet expenses. Its lower price reflects its deprioritised data speeds and intended use for lower internet consumption.
Starlink Lite is ideal for users with lighter internet needs, such as small families or individuals seeking a cost-effective solution. Its affordability makes it a great option for those in fixed, land-based locations who want reliable internet without the higher price of the standard plan.
Starlink Lite, also known as “Residential Lite,” is a more affordable option compared to the standard residential service. While it offers unlimited data, the speeds are deprioritised during peak usage hours, which means they may be slower than those of the standard plan. Starlink Lite typically provides speeds of 50 to 100 Mbps, whereas the standard plan ranges from 150 to 250 Mbps. Designed for low-usage, smaller households, Starlink Lite is not intended for in-motion or maritime use (Starlink).
